I'm a bit of an environmentalist. Our home was built by a developer using BuiltGreen standards. We recycle. We use cloth diapers. Never use paper plates at our dinner parties at home. We tried to have waste-less first birthday party for our son. We try to reuse everything. We take public transit.
So is our next step purchasing 'green power'? It'll add about an extra $17 bucks a month in extra energy costs. Is this worth it?

About Bullfrog Power
Bullfrog
Power is Canada’s leading 100% green electricity provider. Bullfrog
Power is the only company providing a 100% low-impact renewable
electricity choice to everyone in Ontario, Alberta and British
Columbia.
When you choose Bullfrog Power, Bullfrog ensures that as much low-impact renewable electricity is injected into the electricity grid as you use. Bullfrog Power’s green electricity comes exclusively from wind and hydro facilities that have been certified as low impact by Environment Canada under its EcoLogoM program.
Together with our customers, we’re helping to reshape the electricity landscape by bringing new renewable generation online. Bullfrogpowered homes and businesses have provided the demand for several new wind projects in Canada.
Thousands of Canadian homes and organizations have made the decision to become “bullfrogpowered” and support the generation of clean, renewable power. Many ENGOs (environmental non-governmental organizations) and non-profits have also bullfrogpowered their premises to show their support for advancing renewable energy.
Making the choice for clean, green power is a breeze. Bullfrog Power is available throughout Alberta, B.C. and Ontario, and thousands of Canadians have already chosen to bullfrogpower their homes, condos, apartments, offices and businesses.
