Cheers to Kim Clijsters - A Mother and a Champion!

Kim Clijsters, a former number 1 women's tennis player, retired near the height of her career 2 years ago, came roaring back out of retirement this summer to win her 2nd US Open Title.

Seen here with her daughter, she is a testament that you don't have to give up your dreams when you become a parent.  After her victory, she and her husband shared a very poignant kiss to celebrate.  It was an awesome moment not just for her but for the both of them.

When asked what she was going to do next, Kim said, "to go back home and return to our normal routine as a family". 

She is a woman with a firm grip on her priorities.

 

Believe: Melanie Oudin

If you're not a tennis fan, you probably might not have heard of Melanie Oudin.  She's the new 17 year old tennis sensation from the US who is captivating sports fans around the world at the US Open.  She's beaten the likes of Maria Sharapova in the tournament is looking to be on her way to a possible feat of making the finals.

With her family watching from the stands, she seems like a very level-headed teenager who isn't letting the attention get to her.   She's got the word "Believe" imprinted on her shoe.  She's making everyone believe her optimism and self-belief.  Way to go!
